Why religion needs to be questioned???

No religion is above truth. -Mahatma Gandhi.

Like every thought or idea, religion must go through logical analysis. For there are many people and full countries who are living under oppression just because of their outdated religion. Yet they do not question it, they have been brainwashed to believe that their scriptures and their beliefs are above question and logical analysis. And whoever tries to question or deny their religious beliefs are punished brutally. And this attitude have made them to be behind the times. Their per capita income is too low. And even after having many resources their county is lacking basic things and the living standards of their citizens is among the lowest.

Free speech is extremely important. The best thing about free speech is that when one thinks that a particular thing is wrong. He can make it know to whole world and people can then decide whats right and whats wrong. And hence that is old and impractical gets replaced new ideas which are better. This is the reason why many autocratic and dictatorial leaders ban free speech.

I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it. -Voltaire

Tor in ubuntu....

Do not use the packages in Ubuntu's universe. They are unmaintained and out of date. That means you'll be missing stability and security fixes.
You'll need to set up our package repository before you can fetch Tor. First, you need to figure out the name of your distribution. Here's a quick mapping:
  • Ubuntu 10.10 is "maverick" but use the "lucid" packages for now
  • Ubuntu 10.04 or Trisquel 4.0 is "lucid"
  • Ubuntu 9.10 or Trisquel 3.5 is "karmic"
  • Ubuntu 9.04 is "jaunty"
  • Ubuntu 8.10 is "intrepid"
  • Ubuntu 8.04 is "hardy"
  • Debian Etch is "etch"
  • Debian Lenny is "lenny"
