1. Convert units. Whether you want to convert currency, American and metric units, or any other unit, try typing in the known unit and the unknown unit to find your answer (like "how many teaspoons in a tablespoon" or "10 US dollars in Euros").
2. Do a timeline search. Use "view:timeline" followed by whatever you are researching to get a timeline for that topic.
3. Get around blocked sites. If you are having problems getting around a blocked site, just type "cache:website address" with website address being the address of the blocked site to use Google’s cached copy to get where you are going.

I just discovered a great site which offers email address like vincent@in.com and moreover it may also have some popular addresses which which r not taken yet..... but there r some problems also. There are no settings for mail forwarding and email filtering and imap and pop3 options... Without these things I don't think serious email users will take it as their primary email account. If you have Google Chrome or Prism for Firefox, you can open this address in your browser address bar and then create an application shortcut to Facebook chat on your desktop.
Firefox users may bookmark the above link and set the "Load this bookmark in Sidebar" property to true in order to use Facebook chat from the Firefox sidebar.

Scan books to make it text on ur computer

Google Docs can now perform OCR on digital images. You can upload an image containing typewritten or printed text (like a fax document or a scanned newspaper clipping) to your Google Docs account and it will turn that image into editable text.
In the following example, Google Docs successfully extracted all the text from a scanned book page and converted it into an editable document.

The OCR feature in Google Docs is not part of the standard UI yet but you can use this sample form to upload scanned images to your Google Account and the server will automatically try to extract text from these images provided the image resolution is good and that the text inside images is written using Latin character sets.
The OCR feature can also extract text from noisy images as well (like this WSJ clipping) though the recognized text is not very accurate and the document formatting is lost (see conversion results).
If you are a developer, you can add the ocr=true parameter to your upload request and Google Docs will automatically scan that image for text patterns. You can also upload images to Google Docs without the OCR parameter but in that case, the image will be converted into a new Word document sans OCR.
Like Google Docs, Google Search too includes OCR features but the difference is that while Google Docs can extract text from images, the OCR in Google Search works only with scanned PDF files.

ok, now go to Layout | Edit HTML and find following code:

This is the overall wrapper width, all other things come under the umbrella of this outer-wrapper, so increase it's width from 660px to something like 950px and save your template.

How to customise YouTube embedded videos.............. on a blog....

After I embedded my YouTube "Playlist" I wasn't real happy with the player layout so I went back to YouTube and found a great link on how to create a custom player at:

It's a great video on how to create a customer player and insert in a web. Of course as I mentioned earlier once the code is created you can use the HTML/Java Script gadget to insert your code. In his video, Bill indicates that under "content", you can choose different layouts and also generate code for favorites, playlist or all your video.

I wish I had found this link first! It would have saved me a lot of wasted time and energy.
